Dear friends and family,

As we look back on the year 2021 and forward with anticipation for what God is going to do in 2022, we want to thank you for all the ways you blessed Gambia and the Gambian people. It has been another difficult year for many people, but you did not let it stop you from generously showing Christian love and support to those in need in Gambia and beyond.

Just a Few Highlights From the Year

  • Kids playing gamesAll our grade 9 students passed their high school entrance exams, an amazing academic accomplishment!
  • Two shipments of 40-foot containers delivered with food supplies and seed beans for farmers to grow crops.
  • Donations of school supplies, toys, clothing, shoes, personal hygiene items, blankets, pillows and so much more has blessed countless families in multiple villages! The smiles of the happy children have been a balm on our aching hearts!
  • Fixing roofs and houses destroyed by windstorms has blessed families in Gambia in ways you cannot imagine!
  • Started an after school kids club and discipleship program in 2021 and 11 Muslim children gave their lives to the Lord and over 50 students have been discipled in following Jesus.
  • Sponsored multiple evangelism teams and trips to different villages in Gambia, Senegal and Guinea Bissau.
  • Provided transportation for pastors and leaders so they could follow up on evangelized villages.
  • Fixing roofs9 youths, discipled by Pastor Saiko, decided to follow Jesus and were baptized December 31st!

The Lord of the harvest is bringing in the fruit of our labor into His kingdom! To God be the glory!

Vision and Focus for 2022

The strength and success of a ministry is proven when we are away or removed. The ministry of Shared Blessings has grown and extended during this time we have been in the States, and for that we are grateful to God! He provided strong leadership on the ground with vision, initiative, and self-motivation, and we have been guiding and partnering with them from a distance.

BaptismLooking ahead, we strongly feel the Lord’s direction to focus on discipleship, leadership development, and equipping the next generation. The vision of operating a School of Ministry has been on our hearts for a long time, and it is necessary to develop the next generation of servant leaders who will take the Gospel to every corner of Gambia and beyond. With this school, we will be able to license and ordain ministers and workers with a heart to serve God and people.

We are blessed to have the infrastructure for the School of Ministry and many of the tools and materials on the ground. We are working on developing the curriculum and structure for the programs that will prepare the leaders of tomorrow. We appreciate your prayers for us as we move forward in the development of this next step and navigate the changes that come along with it. God is bringing people in our lives with experience and knowledge in this area. We see the power of networking and working together, in unity, as the body of Christ with one purpose and one direction—to see His kingdom come, here on earth.

Thank you for all that you did in 2021 and we look forward to partnering with you to be Jesus to those in need, share the gospel of Salvation, develop leaders, and make disciples.

We pray the Lord bless you and your families most abundantly for your love and support of His people.

Blessings and much love,

Sol and Manuela Bah
